BLACKWOLF GOLF LINKS
Blackwolf Golf Course, is an 9 hole rugged course. The golf course was origanially by United States steel company as a country club for all the bosses and supertiendents of the mines. The club house was very large, there was also a swimming pool. The club houses was used for birthday parties, bridial showers, weddings, and family reunions. It was closed down after the mines stopped operating. The club house and pool were tore down.
It has been reopened, they have built a new club house, redid the whole golf course. This is a very exceting course to play now. There is just nine holes but it is very Challanged so come on out and play and enjoy one of the treasures of McDowell county.
