Elsie, It was nice seeing all the pictures. I enjoyed seeing pictures of my Aunt Liddie Kirk and cousin Alice While. I think you graduated with my sister, Rosie. Unfortunately, Rosie passed away on 10/1/09

Hey Elsie, I remember Evelyn Banks and her husband from when I was a kid. Mom and Dad, Maude and Ernest Webb) loved them both. They were so nice. Evelyn was so beautiful. Hope all of her family is doing well.

Yes there were a lot of black folks there in Jenkinjones, A-Hallow and the Hallow up the Road and through out Jenkinjones, Otoole, and Anawalt. Ms. Gee's place for dancing and good fish. The Chruch up on the hill Morning Start Baptist, Rev. H.E. Price, and Rev. Hairston at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Methodist Church down in Jenkinjones, were our house was in front of that church and I grew up there with many brothers and sisters, Rev. Virginia Johnson Pastors Mt. Bethel Church down in Anawalt, who is married to my Uncle, Leonard Rucker. So yes there is a lot of Black History there. My Mother worked up at the Forestry Camp there at Leckie, Evelyn (Babe) Banks. Lots and lots of history there for black folks.
